<note>Telah diteliti antiinflamasi ekstrak etanol daun pukul delapan (Turnera subulata J.E. Smith) terhadap tikus putih galur wistar. Pada penelitian sebelumnya   Turnera ulmifolia L telah menunjukan efek antiinflamasi. Dalam penelitian ini digunakan metode winter, antiinflmasi dilakukan pada tikus putih galur wistar yang diinduksi karagenan 1%. Dosis yang digunakan untuk ekstrak etanol daun pukul delapan adalah 50, 100 dan 200 mg/kgBB. Hasil penelitian menunjukan ekstrak etanol daun pukul delapan memiliki aktivitas antiinflamasi yang paling efektif pada dosis 50 mg/kgBB.</note>
