<note>Telah ditelaah fitokimia fraksi etil asetat daun sintrong (Gynura crepidioides Benth., asteraceae) secara kromatografi kertas dan spektrofotometri ultraviolet dan inframerah menunjukan adanya satu senyawa yang diduga golongan asam fenolat. Dari ekstrak metanol kental ditemukan adanya empat asam fenolat, yang diduga dalam bentuk glikosa asam felarut dan asam p-hidroksi benzoat; bentuk ester asam p-hidroksi benzoat dan asam protokatekuat; bentuk bebas asam protokatekuat, asam p-hidroksi benzoat dan asam vanilat. Dari fraksi n-heksana dengan kromatrografi lapis tipis ditemukan satu steroid yang diduga stigmasterol.</note>
