<note>Telah ditelaah fitokimia ekstrak metanol, fraksi n-heksana, dan fraksi air daun mengkudu (morinda citrifolia Linn.). Dari frakssi n-heksana dengan kromatografi lapis tipis ditemukan senyawa yang diduga stigmasterol. Fraksi air dengan menggunakan kromatografi kertas, spektrofotometri ultraviolet dan inframerah menunjukan adanya satu senyawa yang diduga golongan flavonoid. Dari ekstrak metanol kental ditemukan empat macam asam fenolat yang diduga asam-asam ferulat, protokatekuat, p-hidroksi benzoat dan vanilat.</note>
