<note>Telah dilakukan uji aktivitas antibakteri ekstrak etanol umbi bawang sabrang (Eleutherine americana (Aubl.) Merr) terhadap Stahphylococus aureus Eschericia dengan metode difusi agar,dengan konsentrasi dari uji aktivitas antibakteri ekstrak etanol umbi uji yang diguanakan adalah 1 g/mL; 0,8 g/mL; 0,6 g/mL; 0,4 g/mL. Dari hasil penelitian diketahui ekstrak etanol umbi bawang sabrang memiliki aktivitas antibakteri dengan niali konsentrasi hambat minimum (KHM) 0,2 g/mL terhadap Staphylococus aureus dan 0,25 g/mL terhadap Eschericia coli. Nilai kesetaraan 1 mg ekstrak etanol umbi bawang sabrang sarta dengan 6,16 x 10-6 mg tetraksiklin HCI terhadap Staphylococus aureus dan m1,35 X 10-5 mg tetraksiklin HCI terhadap Eschericia coli.</note>
