<note>Telah dilakukan Optimasi ekstraksi pati dari umbi taka (Tacca leontopetaloides (L.)Kunze) dengan penambahan bahan-bahan pengekstrak yaitu NaCl, NaOH serta penentuan suhu perendaman. Persentase pati yang paling optimal pada umbi taka sebesar 3.58%, persentase pati total sebesar 33.2%. Pada hasil karakteristik meliputi derajat putih 95%, sudut repos 39.6° dan densitas kamba 0.6096 g/100mL. serta mengetahui unsur-unsur anatomi dari simplisia dengan menggunakan mikroskop terhadap pati umbi taka dengan pembesaran 40x10 dan dapat dilihat butiran-butiran amilum terdapat dalam amilopla.rnKata kunci : Umbi taka (Tacca leontopetaloides (L.)
