<note>Telah dilakukan uji aktivitas antimikroba ekstrak etanol daun ginseng Jawa (Talinum triangulare (Jacq.) Willd.) terhadap Escherichia coli, Staphylococcus aureus dan Candida albicans. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ekstrak etanol daun ginseng Jawa memiliki aktivitas antimikroba terhadap Staphylococcus aureus pada konsentrasi 0,4 ; 0,6; 0,8 dan 1,0 mg/μL. Nilai konsentrasi hambat minimum (KHM) ekstrak etanol daun ginseng Jawa terhadap Staphylococcus aureus dengan metode dilusi padat dan dilusi cair (mikrodilusi) adalah sebesar 0,4 mg/μL. Nilai konsentrasi bakterisidal minimum (KBM) ekstrak etanol ginseng Jawa terhadap Staphylococcus aureus adalah sebesar 0,8 mg/μL. Nilai kesetaraan 1 mg aktivitas ekstrak etanol daun ginseng Jawa terhadap tetrasiklin hidroklorida untuk Staphylococcus aureus adalah sebesar 0,515 μg.</note>
