The influence of repeated administration of ethanol extract of “ koro benguk” (Mucuna pruriens (L).DC) seeds to male Wistar rats had been studied. Observation of peptic ulcer based on scoring method to amount and severity of ulcers. The result showed that the extracts at doses of 50, 400 and 1000 mg/kg body wight (bw) did not cause peptic ulcers with ulcer index of male and female rats were 2.00. Peptic ulcer induction on positif control group by 80% ethanol at a dose of 1 mL/200 grbb and aspirin at a doses of 250 mg/kgbw cause peptic ulcer with ulcer index 4 ± 0,00 and 6 ± 0,00 respectively.rnrnKeywords : repeated administration, “kacang koro”, scoring method rn
